Who is Nikola Atanasoski?
Hello, I’m Nikola Atanasoski from Skopje, I’m 19 years old and I work as a level designer at Aeria Canada.
Where did your interest in Game Design come from and why Qinshift Academy?
I used to spend all my free time playing video games, and I have had the desire to express myself creatively since my earliest years, so a career in the game design industry was the ideal decision for me. I chose the SEDC Academy because of their quality, which is proven by the staff that have graduated from there.
Where are you employed and in what position?
I am currently working as a game designer, or rather a level designer, at Aeria Canada, a company that works with the development and publishing of video games for mobile phones.
What does being a game designer mean to you and what is the field of work?
Being a game designer is a chance to create a unique experience that will evoke some feelings in the player. Game design is a creative profession that offers a lot of freedom for expression, and monotony is almost non-existent. The people I have met in this industry are sociable, collegial and always ready to help you in the workplace.
A message to other students
My message to the rest of the students is to believe in themselves, work daily to improve their skills, and fight for themselves, because with each passing day, the IT sector becomes more competitive.
