Who is Marko Djamtoski?
I’m Marko Djamtoski, a fitness and programming enthusiast, and I really strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle. For me, fitness is not just a place to exercise – it’s an activity where I challenge myself physically and mentally, constantly striving for better. Programming, on the other hand, is my creative outlet and a fascinating world where I can turn ideas into reality. I feel great satisfaction from actively engaging in software projects and researching new technologies to solve real-world challenges. Outside of my professional interests, I am a devotee of the self-improvement method.
I am constantly looking for ways to improve my knowledge, skills and mindset. Meditation is one of my daily rituals, which helps me find balance in my everyday life. When I’m not at the gym or programming, you can often find me with a book in hand or out for a walk. Books open up new worlds, expand my boundaries and offer me great advancement in my career and social connections, while movement is my way of relaxing from everyday responsibilities.
In short, I am someone who is in love with a healthy lifestyle, fitness, personal development and the desire for new knowledge. I believe that by constantly learning and upgrading, we can lead a more honest life and leave a positive mark on the world.
Did you make a career change and who was Marko before he became a programmer?
Before becoming a programmer, I had a strong desire to become a top handball player and dreamed of standing out in the world of sports. Even as a child, I had a keen interest in mathematics and physics and had a great competitive spirit. However, my journey into the world of programming began when I started studying at university. It was a significant moment for me, as I fully dedicated myself to the world of coding and software development. I spent a large part of my childhood sitting in front of a computer, trying to learn different programs and enjoying games. Interestingly, I participated in game development events before I started web development. My passion to become a handball player gradually changed after I started my university studies. Now, even though I don’t play handball, I stay active and maintain my physical fitness.
Which part of programming is more fun for you, back-end or front-end?
As a Full-Stack Developer, both ends offer their own unique challenges, and I usually have more fun with the more challenging one. However, when it comes to personal choice, I’m particularly interested in working with Javascript .
World trends in this sphere sound quite fun, what do you think is the most revolutionary?
When it comes to the most interesting and present topic in the world of technology, I cannot fail to mention the impact of artificial intelligence (AI). AI is in the limelight due to its great potential and contribution to many fields – healthcare, automotive, finance, etc. While AI is a constant source of surprise and exploration, blockchain technology has wonderful potential.
Blockchain technology, with its decentralization, security and transparency, has the potential to revolutionize various aspects of our lives. The ability to create a secure, decentralized network for the exchange of information and value makes blockchain one of the most interesting developing technologies today.
Although AI is the most popular topic, blockchain is developing at a tremendous speed and could bring significant changes to the way we collaborate and exchange data in the future.
From student to lead-trainer of the academy, how did this transition affect you and do you implement some of the things you learned as a student?
The transition from student to academy leader-coach was a big and influential moment in my career. While as a student I provided myself with basic knowledge and skills, working as a lead trainer allowed me to apply and refine this knowledge in real work teaching young people.
Also, the field of education in which I work is a continuous process of learning and adapting. It is important to be open to new technologies and methods for teaching and training and to apply them accordingly.
Part of the things I learned as a student, as a coach I apply in daily practice. The knowledge and experiences from those days help me to be a better coach and to inspire and support new students to achieve their goals.
A message to future students:
Don’t be afraid of challenges and learning. Education is the most powerful resource you can possess in your life. Don’t forget that knowledge is power, and it gives people the opportunity to change the world.
Every day is an opportunity for new discoveries and growth. Use the time in learning and developing, and look forward to new knowledge. The field of technology and science offers countless opportunities, and your determination and passion can take you to enormous heights.
Help each other, work in a team, and don’t forget that the most important thing for successful development is commitment to learning. Your hard work and discipline towards continuous improvement will eventually bring you to the desired success. I wish you luck and success in your career!
One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.
