Who was Borche before the programming academy at Qinshift Academy?
Before entering the academy I worked in production and decided to make a career change, SEDC was the best option for me and I decided to study there.
What is Borce doing today?
I am currently working as a front-end developer at Sivus and at the same time I am a trainer at the Web-Development Academy at SEDC.
What did the programming academy prepare you for?
Academia prepared me for many of the challenges I encountered after entering the IT industry. It taught me how teamwork works and how best to solve the problems I face in my everyday life as a professional.
Favorite programming language and why?
The favorite language for development is of course Javascript , because it is the most flexible language and also the most used in the world. This means that the number of problems that can be solved in it is huge.
Tips&tricks you learned as a student and use as a mentor?
One of the best things I learned as a student is to work on small individual projects during the academy, because that’s how you build experience that is closest to what you have in the industry. I tell this to all students today, because I think it is invaluable as an experience in their careers.
A message to future students:
The academy is intense and there is a lot of information, give it your all, it might be too much at times, but trust the process and always compare your knowledge to what you had at the beginning.
