Meet Marta, an alumni student from the Programming Academy. For more than a year, she has been applying learned to MangoSoft and told her experience of the Academy and her career in detail in an interview.
How would you present yourself in a few words?
I see myself as an extremely persistent person, a team player and always friendly.
In short, what does it mean to be a Web Developer?
Being a Junior Web Developer means having a job full of challenges, in which you are constantly learning new things and developing. An environment where you find different and innovative solutions to problems, where there is a lot of socializing and teamwork.
Why did you choose SEDC and were your expectations from the Academy fulfilled?
I heard about the academy from my friends, who have already completed it and it was helpful in their further career. SEDC plays a big role in my life, because it helped me make a complete turn in my career, and I am very satisfied with the quality of lectures and lecturers.
Which part made the biggest impression on you?
I was most impressed by the way the lecturers explained the subject to us, because until then I had no contact with anything related to programming, for me it was a completely new world.
How did our Programming Academy fit into your career plans?
I applied for a tech job that was involved in the SEDC program. At my first work experience (in this field), I was asked literally what I had already mastered, so it was not difficult for me at all. I felt confident in myself and was surprised at the speed with which I completed my tasks.
Finally, how would you encourage our future students to start a career as a Web Developer?
Anyone who wants to change their career or improve their knowledge in this area, I would recommend not to hesitate at all. SEDC was the right choice for me, I hope it will be for you too.
Write your success story too, registrations for the Programming Academy are ongoing.
