Meet Hristina, an alumni student from the Academy of Graphic Design. He tells us about his experience at the Academy and his career path after finishing it.

To begin with, who is Hristina?

Hello, I’m Hristina, I’m 25 years old and I’m a graduate engineer in the field of industrial design, I work as a Graphic Designer and I’m a big fan of traveling and good food.
I would say that I am a positive, ambitious and creative person who wants to constantly learn and improve.

Tell us about your experience at the Graphic Design Academy.

In 2019, I decided to improve my knowledge in the field of graphic design, and from the very beginning I knew that the right choice for me was Qinshift Academy (former SEDC) on the recommendation of a friend.
From the very beginning, the mentors were completely dedicated to each of us who selflessly and in an excellent way transferred their knowledge and are still here for any help or consultation.
The good thing is that we worked on real projects, and by the very end of the academy we had already built portfolios.

How the knowledge gained during the Academy help you in your future career?

Long story short, I started working as a graphic designer at Extreme Cosmetics, but I wanted to improve my knowledge and just coming back from the academy to work, the knowledge helped me love the job even more and make new, much better designs and packaging. I was surprised at the speed with which I completed tasks that previously took me much longer.

Tell us about your career journey.

After graduation, I started working as a graphic designer at the company Extreme Cosmetics. At the beginning, I had difficulties regarding the programs and the entire production process. However after graduating from the academy from Qinshift Academy (former SEDC), combined with my previous knowledge, I made a complete turn in my career as a graphic designer and began to love my profession more and more.
After 3 successful years of working in the company, I received an offer for remote work from a foreign company with flexible working hours. In addition to creative work, now I will be able to organize my time of the day, as it suits me.

A message to our future students and your future colleagues?

If you want to change your career or upgrade yourself in the field of graphic design, Qinshift Academy (former SEDC) is the right choice for you. Success is a journey and not a final destination, keep learning and improving!
