Daniela Nikolovska is our student who successfully completed her Academy for Game Design , so we decided to talk about the acquired knowledge and the challenges she faced following the Academy. According to her, the opportunity to be part of this group of students and study this subject is quite interesting, so you can watch the whole interview below.
Introduce yourself and the academy you attended.
I’m Daniela Nikolovska, I’m 21 years old and I’m a person who constantly tries to combine her skills for solving logical problems together with the creative side, and that’s exactly why I chose her. the academy for Game production and Design at Qinshift Academy, where I aspired to learn more about 3D art and game development.
Did the academy meet your expectations and are you satisfied with this experience?
In the academy we studied the whole process of game creation, from idea, sketches and documents to 3D models, animations and implementation. The academy definitely met my expectations as I gained a lot of skills and general knowledge about the games industry, and even though the teaching was completely online due to the pandemic, we had good cooperation and communication with the other students and the trainers.
Which academy module was the most challenging for you to master?
Definitely 3D animation, it’s something that takes a lot of patience, time and research and always seems like it can be done better. The process itself is challenging, but the result reminds you why all that effort was invested.
Where do you see yourself in the future and do you see yourself as a successful game designer?
Since in parallel with the academy I enrolled and study software engineering at FINKI, UKIM, my goal is to combine my skills and focus on Game Development, which I think is the right direction for me, and the Game Design Academy helped me find myself better .
What is your message to future students?
Challenge yourself and learn new things, that’s the only way you’ll truly find yourself.
